    (decibels per milliwatt) децибел на милливатт, децибел/милливатт, дБм
    единица измерения мощности сигнала по отношению к уровню 1 мВт; используется в радио- и СВЧ-технике, а также в волоконной оптике как удобный способ представления в компактном виде и очень больших и очень малых значений мощностей. Поскольку dBm (или dBmW) и dBW привязаны к ватту, они не зависят от импеданса (impedance), служат для измерения абсолютной мощности. Не следует их путать с децибелом (dB), безразмерной единицей для измерения отношения двух величин. 0 дБм - это 1 мВт при частоте 1 кГц и импедансе 600 Ом. 0,001 мВт=-30 дБм
